The Project
Magan Do and I made this map set of Galilee in the time of Jesus. This was primarily for a Fall 2007 Religion department class with Doug Edwards she was taking at the time. My participation was motivated by the technical nature of the work, and the opportunity to learn Google's KML.
Authorship
Magan is responsible for all the biblical research. My work was primarily deciphering the KML references pages and the Google Maps and Google Earth APIs. Fighting with KML was just not something Magan had time to do.

To view the maps, open the following KML file in Google Earth.

The jesus-maps.kml file is just a wrapper to the other markup files. These can be downloaded either as a GZipped tarball or a regular zip file.
